1. SHORT ATTENTION SPAN
-Easily distracted
-Difficulty staying on task
2. LACK OF AWARENESS
-Has to touch everything
-Inability to deal in abstractions; good, bad, no, share, etc.
3. PERIODIC LOSS OF GROSS MOTOR SKILLS
-Falls, clumsy, but not all the time.
4. LEFT/RIGHT DISORIENTATION
-Shoelaces untied and late in learning to tie shoes
-Trouble understanding up/down, over/under, top/bottom, etc.
-Reversal of letters and numbers in reading and writing
5. SPEECH PROBLEMS
-Ws for Rs (twain-train)
-Ks for SKs, SCHs, Ts
-M and N problems, etc.
(Does not discriminate sounds, but hearing is OK)
6. FINE MOTOR DEFICIENCY
-Handwriting is poor
7. POOR ORGANIZATION
-Totally disorganized in time & space
-Forgets homework
