Worthmore is a place where children with learning differences may come and receive individualized instruction to help remediate his or her learning differences. The students we commonly teach and work with most commonly are dealing with dyslexia, ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder), Autistic spectrum (including Asperger's Syndrome), communication disorder etc. The devoted staff maintains the highest quality of individualized remediation with continued emphasis on emotional growth. Worthmore's goal is to help each child return to a traditional academic setting within one to two years. Worthmore's primary commitment: Each child shall leave us feeling "worth-more" than when he or she arrived.
The programs are ungraded with each student working at his/her ability level. A structured multimodal method of instruction is used to teach. The student/teacher ratio is 1:1 language arts, 2:1 reading and math.
